Safari FAQs
How much does a Jim Corbett jeep safari cost?
About ₹6,500 – ₹7,500 per jeep for Indians and ₹12,000 – ₹15,000 for foreign nationals, per shift, including permit, Gypsy and driver. The guide fee is paid at the gate.
What are Corbett safari timings?
Two shifts a day. In winter they run roughly 6:45 – 10:00 AM and 1:30 – 5:00 PM; in summer roughly 5:45 – 9:00 AM and 3:00 – 6:30 PM.
How early should I book a Corbett safari?
Permits open about 45 days ahead for Indians and 90 days for foreign nationals. Weekends, festivals and Dhikala sell out quickly, so book as soon as the window opens.
What ID is needed for the safari?
Carry the same original photo ID you used for the permit (Aadhaar, passport, voter ID, driving licence and similar). Foreign nationals must carry their passport.
